Job Description
  1. ASU Tour Guides must be dependable, energetic, and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about their experience at Angelo State University;
  2. Individuals must be professional in all work duties and possess excellent customer service skills, as well as, verbal and written communication skills;
  3. Individuals need to be detail-oriented and have general computer knowledge. Individuals must be willing to work under various weather types;
  4. ASU Tour Guides are required to become a member of the ASU RAMbassadors, a student volunteer group housed within the Office of Admissions;
  5. Job duties include:
    • greeting visitors to campus;
    • providing walking campus tours/golf cart tours when needed;
    • escorting visitors to campus appointments;
    • inputting student information and data;
    • general office duties;
    • assisting with campus recruitment events;
    • preparing material for campus recruitment events;
    • and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes;
  • Must be eligible for Work Study program

Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands
  • Frequent walking across campus;
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time;
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds;
  • Ability to sit and use current office equipment

Salary
$10/hour with opportunity for raises
