Job description

Our mission is to open the door to the life-changing impact of education. We build market-leading, online college credit and test-preparation solutions that help working adults earn their degrees, advance their careers, and achieve economic mobility. Recognized by Fast Company and GSV 150 as one of the world's most innovative education companies, we are also at the forefront of AI-first learning, combining artificial intelligence with the latest learning science to improve access and outcomes at scale.

Our product is our impact. Through our Keys to College and Keys to the Classroom initiatives, we have saved students over $700 million in tuition and enabled hundreds of thousands of learners to pursue and succeed in careers across nursing, teaching, counseling, business, and other high-demand fields. We are deeply focused on measurable outcomes and building products that create meaningful, lasting change in people's lives.

About the Role

We're looking for an AI-forward product leader to lead and scale key parts of our consumer and B2B subscription business. This is a hands-on Group Product Manager (GPM) role where you'll set the product vision, manage a team, drive growth across a proven product line, and find product-market fit for new products with growth potential. You'll serve adult learners seeking to advance their careers and build the AI skills the modern workforce demands.

This role is based in our Mountain View, CA office and is hybrid in office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What You'll Do

  • Define the product strategy and go-to-market plan, validate pricing and positioning, find product-market fit, and iterate rapidly based on learner feedback and data.
  • Understand the competitive landscape; identify where we can win, where we're underinvested, and where new opportunities are emerging.
  • Define and track key business metrics and use them to make fast, informed decisions.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly across UX improvements, missing features, and content to maximize learner outcomes and business performance.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of a scrum team and manage a small PM team.

Be an AI-Forward Leader

  • Stay ahead of how AI is reshaping education; translate emerging capabilities into product features that give learners a meaningful edge.
  • Partner with cross functional team members to build and ship growth features with speed and rigor, leveraging AI wherever possible.
  • Drive product craft, analytical rigor, and AI-forward thinking within your team.

Drive Growth

  • Build and optimize acquisition, activation, and retention loops across product areas
  • Design and run experiments across the learner funnel to improve conversion, engagement, and monetization.
  • Partner with marketing, content, and partnerships teams to bring courses to market and reach new audiences at scale.
  • Identify the highest-leverage optimizations across our existing course portfolio where outdated content, UX friction, or missing features are hurting the business.
  • Go deep on product analytics, segmentation, cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and A/B testing.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3โ€“5 years in a senior Product, GM, or business-owner role with direct people management responsibility.
  • Innovation with AI in your daily work to accelerate analysis, research, decision-making, and communication, and sets the expectations the same across the team.
  • Proven track record in growth product, including building and scaling funnels, running experimentation programs, and driving core business metrics.
  • Demonstrated success building AI-powered product experiences.
  • Experience launching new subscription products (0โ†’1) alongside managing established ones. Ed-tech experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate at both the strategic level (market sizing, business cases, roadmap) and the execution level (writing specs, reviewing data, unblocking teams).

The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000 per year. Pay is dependent upon factors including skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
