SUMMARY
Instructs and develops curriculumfor courses within the Information Technology Center of Excellence.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
  • This position instructs and develops curriculum for courses within the Information Technology function in Tri-C's Workforce and Community Economic Development (WCED). Subject matter experts needed in all of the following areas:
    • Microsoft Office 2016 or newer

    • JavaScript jQuery
    • AJAX and JSON
    • C# (.NET)
    • Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
    • Significant related experience may substitute for education
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in the Information Technology industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
  • Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population
  • Proven background in providing dynamic instruction with the ability to integrate industry, professional, and life experiences into a classroom learning environment in either large or small groups

Special Note: Pooled Position
This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $35.00/ hour.
If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
