About the Role
Step into leadership at Stretch Zone as a Studio Lead Associate. This is a hands-on hybrid role that combines practitioner-assisted stretching, member care, sales support, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate understands the body, movement, and the benefits of assisted stretching, while also being outgoing, confident, and comfortable helping clients understand the value of membership. You will perform stretch sessions, support Stretch Practitioners and Sales Associates, help grow memberships, and step in as a dependable leader during daily studio operations.
This role is a great fit for someone with experience in fitness, wellness, bodywork, personal training, physical therapy, massage, exercise science, athletics, customer service, or sales who is ready to grow into studio leadership.
What You'll Do
Stretching & Member Care
  • Perform practitioner-assisted stretch sessions using the Stretch Zone method
  • Maintain a lighter stretch schedule than a full-time Stretch Practitioner so you can support leadership responsibilities
  • Learn member goals and explain the benefits of consistent stretching
  • Build strong relationships so members feel known, cared for, and valued
  • Deliver a safe, professional, and respectful hands-on stretch experience

Client Experience & Retention
  • Create a welcoming studio environment where members feel like part of the Stretch Zone family
  • Help keep members engaged in their stretch plans
  • Support retention through strong relationships, great service, and consistent follow-up
  • Help resolve client questions or concerns with patience and professionalism

Sales & Membership Support
  • Explain Stretch Zone services, memberships, and benefits
  • Support intro stretch conversion into memberships
  • Follow up with leads, prospects, intro sessions, and current members
  • Help members connect their personal goals to the value of consistent stretching
  • Support referrals, promotions, and local outreach
  • Lead by example with confident, helpful, value-based sales conversations

Team Leadership
  • Support and coach both Stretch Practitioners and Sales Associates
  • Help onboard and train new team members
  • Reinforce Stretch Zone methods, client experience standards, and studio expectations
  • Help create a positive, focused, and accountable team environment
  • Step in as a dependable leader when the Studio Manager is unavailable
  • Model the professionalism, energy, customer care, and teamwork expected from the full studio

What We're Looking For
  • Background or strong interest in fitness, wellness, assisted stretching, bodywork, athletics, physical therapy, massage, personal training, kinesiology, or exercise science
  • Comfortable learning and performing the Stretch Zone method
  • Outgoing personality with strong people skills
  • Customer-facing, sales, or service experience
  • Leadership, coaching, training, or team support experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Able to support both Stretch Practitioners and Sales Associates
  • Coachable and willing to follow Stretch Zone methods and protocols
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced studio environment
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • Passion for helping people move better, feel better, and live better

What We Offer
  • Base pay plus performance-based commissions or bonus opportunities
  • Training on Stretch Zone services, memberships, studio systems, and client experience standards
  • Opportunity to grow into Regional Manager roles with higher earning potential
  • Regular performance reviews with opportunity for base pay increases
  • Supportive team culture in a growing wellness brand

Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.
A career with Stretch Zone® means not just meeting and maintaining a level of excellence, but continually improving in skill, to further one's expertise and to advance the industry. As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
