Job description

Personal Trainer Career Accelerator Program (PTCAP)

Launch your PT career with real-world experience

What is it?

Our PTCAP is a combination mentorship/internship program designed for aspiring personal trainers who want hands-on experience in a professional studio environment before stepping into a regular training role. This is your opportunity to learn, grow, and test the waters of a personal training career — without the pressure of a major commitment.

Who is it for?

  • Recently certified/graduated or soon-to-be certified/graduated trainers
  • Those struggling to land their first PT role due to lack of experience
  • Anyone passionate about fitness who wants a clear path into the industry

How It Works

Phase 1: Observation & Learning (Weeks 1–2)

Shadow experienced trainers, learn client interaction, session flow, and studio operations. Unpaid: your investment in your own career growth

Phase 2: Helping & Contributing (Weeks 3–6)

Assist with studio tasks: cleaning, admin, client check-ins. Begin light session support under supervision.

Paid an hourly administrative rate for contribution time

Phase 3: Hands-On Experience (Weeks 6–12)

Co-lead programming, warmups, cooldowns, small session segments, assessments and movement screens. Build coaching confidence with guidance.

Review Point (3 months): We’ll sit down together and decide the next step — moving into a PT role, extending mentorship, or parting ways if it’s not the right fit.

Why Join?

  • Gain real-world experience in a supportive environment
  • Build confidence before stepping into a client-facing role
  • Get paid for your contributions while you learn
  • A proven pathway into a permanent PT career
