Specific job duties:
Sales & Membership Growth

  •  Drive membership sales through consultative, relationship-based sales conversations 
  •  Conduct introductory calls, studio tours, and conversion-focused consultations for prospects 
  •  Support membership retention efforts through proactive outreach, follow-up, and relationship building 
  •  Assist in executing studio sales initiatives, promotions, and challenge participation campaigns 
  •  Monitor individual and team sales performance, helping coach associates toward daily and monthly goals 
Leadership & Team Development
  •  Act as a leader and role model for front desk associates by setting the standard for professionalism, urgency, and member experience 
  •  Coach sales associates in real-time on sales process, objection handling, member interactions, and operational execution 
  •  Support onboarding and hands-on training for new associates 
  •  Reinforce accountability and uphold performance expectations across the team 
  •  Provide ongoing feedback to improve individual performance and elevate studio standards 
Member Experience & Retention
  •  Ensure every member receives a consistent, high-energy, best-in-class Orangetheory experience 
  •  Build strong relationships with members to increase engagement, loyalty, and retention 
  •  Address member concerns, questions, and service recovery opportunities quickly and professionally 
  •  Support implementation of retention strategies including milestone recognition, follow-up outreach, and personalized member engagement 
Daily Studio Operations
  •  Oversee smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations during shifts 
  •  Ensure the studio is operating efficiently, organized, and aligned with Orangetheory brand standards 
  •  Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and overall studio readiness 
  •  Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and communicate solutions effectively 
  •  Ensure all operational procedures and systems are executed accurately 
Coach & Cross-Department Support
  •  Partner with coaches to ensure alignment between member experience and sales/member engagement efforts 
  •  Support communication between front desk and coaching staff 
  •  Help facilitate studio events, challenges, benchmark days, and community outreach initiatives 
Performance Accountability
  •  Hold self and team accountable to high standards of execution, urgency, and professionalism 
  •  Help identify performance gaps and collaborate with leadership on improvement plans 
  •  Track operational consistency and support continuous improvement initiatives 
Studio Leadership Support
  •  Serve as the acting leader in the absence of the Studio Manager 
  •  Assist in executing studio goals, initiatives, and strategic priorities 
  •  Support implementation of studio processes and ensure team adherence to expectations

The Assistant Studio Manager is a hands-on operational leader responsible for supporting studio performance through sales leadership, team coaching, operational excellence, and exceptional member experience, while partnering closely with the Studio Manager to drive overall studio success.
