AboutRealFaithinternship

The Real Faith Internship Program is designed to developyoung believers(ages 18-25) intoleadersby equipping them with hands-on professional experienceacross multiple areas of ministry.


Program Length:4 MonthsCompensation:Stipend-BasedSchedule:

  • Full-time track:3 days per week
  • Part-time track:2 days per week
  • Monday isrequired; intern maychooseTuesday, Wednesday, or Sundayfor remaining days

Program Purpose

Interns will grow in:

  • Professional competenciesacross facilities, video/media, and social media
  • Ministry leadership and character developmentthrough mentorship and discipleship
  • Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, while serving in a fast-moving ministry environment

Interns serve under two primary leads and rotatethrough departments to gain broad, practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilities & Operations

  • Groundskeeping
  • Cleaning and organizing ministry spaces
  • Assistingwith maintenance projects as directed
  • Supporting event setup and teardown

2. Video & Media Experience

  • Opportunity toassistin the Real Faith studio
  • Exposure to professional filming sessions for:
    • Social media content
    • Guest podcast episodes
    • Exclusive Real Faith video productions
  • Observing and learning videoworkflow, equipment usage, on-set responsibilities, and creative direction


3. Marketing & Social Media

  • Social media content editing
  • Learning basic digital communication and messaging practices


4. Customer Service

  • Address and respond to basic inquiries
  • Make donor thank-you and follow-up calls as assigned, using provided scripts and guidelines


5. Events

  • Support the planning and execution of ministry events. Tasks may include setup and teardown, coordinating materials, assisting guests, and helping ensure events run smoothly.


6. Admin/Hospitality

  • Assist with day-to-day operational needs that keep the organization running efficiently. This may include data entry, organizing files, tracking information, running errands, and supporting team members with various projects.
  • Provide backup childcare/babysitting support when requested and approved.
  • Restock kitchen, coffee areas, and bathrooms; reorder supplies as needed
  • Gather cards for team birthdays (including collecting signatures)
  • Arrange team breakfasts and hospitality items as requested.


Qualifications

Required

  • Ages18-25
  • Must beattending and involved in alocal church
  • Limited skillsrequired-trainingwill be provided
  • Teachable with a willingness to learn hands-on tasks

Preferred

Prior experience in any of the following:

Facilities or hands-on service work

Videoproduction or social media

Church or ministry volunteer roles


Strong character traits, including:

Hungry to learn skills

Hard-worker

Humility to receive coaching and try new things

Intelligence to constantly learn and grow in various areas

Program Structure

Interns will be trained by various teams within Real Faith, while reporting to two primary leads. Weekly rhythms include scheduled workdays, discipleship meetings, skill-development sessions, and hands-on ministry involvement.
