Job Summary
The Integrative Studies Program is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented student to support the program. As a student representative of the Integrative Studies Program, the student in this position will gain valuable experience in a small office setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist program personnel during outreach events, such as tabling during Grizzly Orientation and Preview Days
- Maintain a work schedule with hours at or after 2pm on weekdays as well as occasional evening/weekend duties during major student outreach events
- Create flyers for various program-related events across departments
- Create and maintain a weekly or biweekly newsletter re: program-related events, current student and alumni accomplishments, upcoming courses, and internship opportunities
- Create content to be posted on GGC social media
- Organize various confidential documents
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Federal Work Study award
- Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at GGC
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment
- Must be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment
- Have the ability to apply judgment and discretion in maintenance of confidential information
- Be highly organized and attentive to detail
- Have clear oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Be enrolled as an Integrative Studies major
