Job description

Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes (YTCTE) was one of the first Jewish schools to open in South Florida. Since our inception in 1984, we’ve grown to over 1,300 students in six divisions. YTCTE is now is one of the largest, most established Yeshivas outside of the New York and New Jersey area.
At YTCTE, students from Junior Pre-K to post High School receive the purest education in Jewish Studies available, taught in conjunction with a rigorous Secular Studies program. We focus on building strong minds and strong characters, so our students become caring, well-rounded and successful individuals.
Our warm and welcoming learning environment tailors lessons to each student’s unique learning style and needs.
The ideal candidate for an elementary Judaic position should be able to and expect to:
  • Teach Chumash, Kriah, Tefillah, Halacha, and/or other Kodesh subjects
  • Foster strong middos/derech eretz
  • Create a classroom environment rooted in Torah values and respect
  • Monitor, assess and track students work
  • Support students in both academic and social emotional development
  • Maintain strong classroom management and clear expectations
  • Send bi/weekly emails to parents providing updates
  • Collaborate with other teachers/staff 
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings
  • Supervise students during non instructional times as needed (e.g., recess)
