Job Description

The Student Involvement Assistant is an integral team member of the department. This role provides key support for student organizations and their programs as well as the day-to-day operations of the office.

Position Summary

  • Support annual campus wide programs throughout the academic year (Lake Day, Duck Day, Hoop Rolling).

  • Support and facilitate trainings in collaboration with college government for student organizations as necessary.

  • Occasional Nights and weekends required as determined by department throughout the year.

  • Advise student organizations on programming planning and logistics for events and Programs.

  • Oversight of Beebe storage space and student organization logistics

  • Support student organizations through 25Live scheduling and resource assignments.

  • Attend 10 Day calendar meetings to review student organization events as needed.

  • Assist with the promotional campaign of WEngage and provide logistical support for student organization

  • Procure office items and supplies for department

  • Additional projects as assigned by department

  • Attend Wellness Collaborative monthly meetings

  • Pull all resources for student organization programs

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 0 - 3 years experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to complete tasks independently

  • Proficiency with WEngage and 25 Live

Position Details:

This is an intermittent, fixed-term role working up to 15 hours per week (5 hours per day, 3 days a week) during the Academic Year (August to May). This position is required to work on campus and is not eligible for benefits.

Salary:

The pay rate for this role is $20 an hour.
