Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract supporting a Morris County home care region in New Jersey.

Details
  • Home health setting, supporting the Morris County region
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with no weekend shifts required
  • 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
  • Epic used for charting; experience preferred
  • Possibility of floating to a nearby sister facility
Requirements
  • Active NJ PT license required; license required if applicable
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
  • 0–4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Acute care experience in a large academic medical setting preferred
  • Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in an area applicable to acute care preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Core responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, patient and family education, documentation, and appropriate billing
  • Supports lead clinicians in competency development and participates in new staff orientation
  • May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students
  • Exercises independent clinical judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision
  • Candidates who completed a clinical affiliation with this health system will be given preference
  • Orientation is conducted on-site in Morristown, NJ
