Description
Primary teaching responsibilities include industrial safety, equipment operation, OSHA/PPE practices, and introductory/advanced solar photovoltaic instruction.
Job Duties
  • Teach classroom and hands-on lab instruction in industrial safety, equipment operation, and solar photovoltaic systems
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment while reinforcing OSHA, PPE, and industry safety practices
  • Prepare instructional materials, assess student learning, and maintain accurate student records
  • Support student success through effective communication and engagement with students and industry partners

Qualifications
  • 6000 hours of industrial technology work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in industrial technology and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested industrial technology experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and safe equipment operation

Physical Demands
  • The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs
  • Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
