The Student Services Advisor supports student success by providing academic and career guidance, and assisting with admissions, financial aid, and degree selection. This role collaborates with various departments in Academic and Student Affairs, interprets placement and transcript information, and connects students to resources such as tutoring, counseling, and other areas, when necessary. Advisors ensure students understand degree and graduation requirements while helping them navigate the college journey from enrollment to completion. This position reports to the Dean, Milton Campus.


Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by theCollege with a bachelor's degree OR graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.


Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience at the post-secondary level in a Student Services area.


Salary Range: $40,800.00 - $45,800.00
