Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to become an integral part of our School Mental Health Team in Charlottesville, Virginia. Work Environment

You will be joining a remote work environment that is centered around the school and its community. Our operational hours are structured Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure full coverage for student mental health services. You may also need to be on-call to address urgent mental health issues as they arise, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to crisis management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, utilizing a strengths-based approach to understand their individual experiences, challenges, and risk factors.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans through collaboration with students, focusing on enhancing emotional resilience and social integration within the school environment.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to address various mental health challenges.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting skills in emotional regulation, effective coping mechanisms, and personal growth.
• Coordinate with other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care, participating in comprehensive treatment discussions and case management meetings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing de-escalation techniques while determining the need for referrals to higher levels of care.
• Educate students and families about mental health, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
• Maintain meticulous documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying informed of advancements in mental health practices to enhance service delivery.

You will work closely with students who face various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within a mental health or educational context, is required.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and crafting appropriate treatment plans.
• Exceptional crisis management skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with students from various backgrounds.
• Competence in electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working directly within school settings or with adolescent populations.
• Knowledge of community mental health resources and referral processes.
• Handling of multidisciplinary case management initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
