Job description

Temp Radiology Technologist Student

Under the direction of a Radiologist, Radiology Section Manager, or Radiology Technologist performs radiographic procedures according to protocols established for various age groups of patients, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a wide variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required. Assesses the age-specific needs of the patients. Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of TGH.

Must be enrolled in a training program in Radiology Technology from an AMA-approved school. Must have approval from Radiology Program to apply for student position. Must have competencies completed.
