The Radiologic Technologist will primarily perform DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans for body composition and bone density assessments. This role involves preparing clients, operating DEXA imaging equipment, ensuring exceptional image quality, maintaining radiation safety standards, and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality DEXA body composition and bone density scans according to established protocols.
  • Position clients accurately to ensure precise and reproducible scan results.
  • Verify patient information and maintain complete, accurate electronic medical records.
  • Follow all radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily quality assurance and routine maintenance of DEXA equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional testing environment.
