Job description

  • Position Summary
    • Under the direction of the licensed staff member, the Student Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures. The Student Radiologic Technologist supports patient care through assistance with imaging examinations, adherence to radiation safety standards, and maintenance of a clean and organized imaging environment.
  • Education
    • High School Diploma - Preferred
  • Experience
    • Actively enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program - Required
  • License & Certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Core Job Functions
    • Assists in the coordination and implementation of individualized care for patients and families.
    • Patients are identified per guidelines and patient care is provided under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist. Accurately obtains and documents patient history according to hospital/ department guidelines.
    • Under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist transports patients to other patient care areas
    • Assists in room set up. Helps move/transport patients.
