Student Program Board - Marketing Directorp>Student Program Board strives to enhance student life by providing high quality and diverse programs, activities, and events for the Oakland University Community. SPB is the largest event planning body at Oakland University. We pride ourselves on providing superior entertainment and enrichment opportunities for students outside the classroom. Student Program Board embodies the ideology that real learning extends beyond the classroom here at OU. These year‑long positions are for students of all majors who want to develop real‑world skills in management, budgeting, communication, public speaking, marketing, and event planning. It is the role as a member of the Student Program Board Executive Board to effectively plan, market, and execute high‑profile events on campus. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, leadership skills and extreme attention to detail. Your responsibilities will depend on which position you apply for.
