- Oversees and tracks all CU-MESA educational scholarship projects to ensure timely progress and alignment with program goals.
- Develops and maintains a public-facing CU-MESA website that describes program offerings and connects faculty, residents, and students with available resources.
- Collaborates with the Professional Research Assistant (PRA) to improve workflows and processes related to the Student Data Advisory Committee (SDAC) and related initiatives.
- Coordinates and supports regular meetings of the CU-MESA advisory board and project teams, including agenda development, documentation, and follow-up.
25% - Research Operations and Consultation
- Performs day-to-day activities related to the implementation of research protocols, including coordinating, leading, and attending meetings with investigators and project staff.
- Serves as a consultant to faculty, residents, and students interested in medical education scholarship by reviewing project ideas and supporting the development of research questions, study designs, and analytic plans.
- Supports projects from initial concept through data collection, analysis, presentation, and dissemination.
- Builds and manages surveys using Qualtrics, ensuring alignment with research objectives, methodology, and best practices.
- Coordinates with IRB staff and the PRA to support regulatory compliance and efficient project workflow.
25% - Data Management and Analysis
- Manages, cleans, and documents complex datasets related to educational outcomes, assessments, surveys, and institutional data sources.
- Performs statistical analyses using appropriate software to support research and evaluation projects.
- Conducts descriptive and inferential analyses, including regression modeling, longitudinal data analysis, and basic psychometric analyses.
- In collaboration with faculty and leadership, communicates analytic findings to diverse stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and consultations.
- Ensures data integrity, reproducibility, and appropriate documentation of analytic methods.
