Job description


An internship at DPAC provides engaging experiences for college students interested in a career that includes presenting and producing live entertainment events and or managing events at theaters and performing arts centers.
Internships are offered in a variety of departments, including Audience & Event Services, Business Management, Marketing, Guest Experience, Sponsorship Sales, and Ticketing.
Students in our program work alongside DPAC staff with hands-on training, valuable learning opportunities with real-world business skills, and the opportunity to participate in special projects that contribute to DPAC's success and ranking as one of the top-five theaters in America.
Requirements
For consideration, please submit a resume that highlights relevant experience, as well as a cover letter indicating interest.
  • To qualify for a DPAC internship, a student's internship must be tied to the intern's formal education program by integrated coursework and the receipt of academic credit. Per the Fair Labor Standards Act, students in a DPAC internship are not classified as an employee and these opportunities are unpaid.

Internships are available for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Recommended application deadlines are as follows:
  • For fall semester consideration, please apply between: March 16 - June 15
  • For spring semester consideration, please apply between: June 16 - October 15
  • For summer semester consideration, please apply between: October 16 - March 15
