We are hiring a nocturnist with our hospitalist team. A nocturnist's role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration: 

  • We take pride in our well-established team at Canyon Vista Medical Center of 8 physicians, with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
  • This is an academic hospital with a family medicine residency program.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
  • We provide in-house licensing and credentialing support.
  • In-house Immigration support, and we can sponsor an HHS J1 waiver.

Scheduling:

  • As a Nocturnist with our Hospitalist team, you will be working nights, 7 pm-7 am.
  • 7 days on/7 days off schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hospitalists are part of our rapid response team.
  • Physicians will perform intubations, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vents.
  • 10 average admissions per night, with residents.
  • 60 average floor calls.
  • EMR is Cerner.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Day Shift Rate of $1,600 and Night Shift Rate of $2,100.
  • Nocturnist base salary of $383,250K.
  • Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus.
  • Full Benefits, including CME allowance.
  • Student Loan Repayment Option of 75k spread over 3 years!!
  • Robust sign-on bonus of $50k.
