Position name: Student Leadership Coordinator
Facility name: Clearfield Job Corps Center
Location: Clearfield, UT
Work schedule: Mid-day, some weekends

Job responsibilities: Responsible for supervision of student leadership program, student leadership council, welfare fund, leadership instruction, religious and voting services as well as welfare fund concessions.
Essential functions:
  • Develop center leadership program and provide leadership instruction; develop and prepare lessons for leadership classes
  • Provide coordination and oversight among, and between, all student leadership positions to include staff representatives
  • Supervise student leadership council, which includes maintaining communication with administration, scheduling and supervising meetings and guiding development of skills in self-government
  • Coordinate the concessions operation and administer student welfare fund
  • Chaperone student leadership functions

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year related experience
  • Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
  • Must possess or acquire within 60 days of employment, a valid UT class B CDL with passenger endorsement and an acceptable driving record is required
