    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Continuing and Professional Education.
    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after August 3, 2026 and ending on or before August 31, 2026.  Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Greet, direct, and assist visitors by answering questions and providing information.
      • Answer, assist, and direct telephone calls.
      • Promptly retrieve, forward, and return all voicemails, emails, and in-person messages.
      • Check and disburse mail; take mail and packages to the mail room as needed.
      • Assist students with registration related questions.
      • Use PeopleSoft to look up student info.
      • Use Microsoft Forms and Excel for data entry, track registrations, and communicate with students.
      • Help prepare documents, forms, and reports for departmental use.
      • Assist staff with inquiries and administrative needs as requested.
      • Ensure reception and lobby areas are neat, clean, and presentable.
      • Assist with restocking office supplies and/or other equipment.
      • Perform general clerical support to the department as needed.
      • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all student and staff interactions.
      • Run errands around campus as needed.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.90 per hour.
