Job description

About the role
  • Our tour guides act as a primary student ambassador for the admissions office. They create a welcoming atmosphere and highlight academic and social aspects of campus life. Our tour guides create this experience by leading prospective students and families across campus, sharing personal student experiences, and promoting university programs.

Qualifications
  • Must be a current Bethel student.
  • Strong public speaking abilities with a clear voice and the capacity to engage diverse audiences.
  • Punctual, organized, and able to manage time - showing up for shifts, communicating if you are gone, keep the tour running on time
  • Friendly and welcoming personality to build quick rapport and relationships with prospective families.

Travel: This position does not require travel.
Physical Demands:
Walking/standing for 90 minutes.
Expected Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday
Shifts are generally 1.5 hours
Needs to have availability at one or more of the following times: 8:45-10:15, 11:00-12:30, 12:15-1:45, 2:00-3:30.
Our hope is that tour guides can work around 2 shifts per week (3 hours total). We are welcome to more than that if interested!
