Job description

Be the face of La Sierra University to prospective students, their families and important community members. Tours have a huge impact on college decision-making, which means you have a huge impact on everyone who comes through our doors. If you're excited about sharing your college experience, we encourage you to apply!

Job Description:ย 

  • Give daily tours to campus visitorsย 

  • Plan and help with Enrollment Services events. Example: Open House, University Experience

  • Be present on campus to engage with prospective and current students

  • Help with maintaining golf carts and guest apartment

  • Assist in other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • PC, Mac and Microsoft Office operation knowledgeย 

  • Telephone and operating systems knowledgeย 

  • Knowledge of our campus, its departments, events, and activities

Qualifications:ย 

  • Superior interpersonal skills (the ability to interact with anyone and begin a conversation)

  • Event Planning (be able to lead and organize events with the background assistance of the Enrollment Team)ย 

  • Reliable and punctual (early is on time and on time is late)

  • Flexible (able to adapt to last minute changes)

  • Self-motivated (will take on tasks that are needed, without being asked)

  • Organized (able to balance work and school)

  • Innovating (able to throw out ideas and brainstorm in a group)

  • Positive attitude (ability to stay positive when situations change - bring up the mood of the group)

  • Communication skills (able to communicate with other students, prospective students, parents, and faculty and staff)

  • Must be a current La Sierra University student

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License
