About this job: 

The Student Food Service Worker assists in the preparation and service of DPS school meals in accordance with food and safety standards. Duties may include preparing food according to recipes, setting up serving lines, serving meals, cleaning & sanitizing dishes, and more. Students will work one or two hour shifts between 6:30 am- 1:30 pm.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and serve school meals in accordance with food and safety standards.
  • Prepare food according to recipes 
  • Set up serving lines
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
  • Operate a cash register
What You'll Need:
  • 1 letter of reference from a Dean, Counselor, Teacher, Assistant Principal or Principal. 
  • Ability to read, count and perform simple math. 
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
