Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant within the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM).
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, the Student Assistant assists and tutors students who are at an academic disadvantage within various curricular topics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Assist and tutor students who are at an academic disadvantage, covering academic and preclinical topics pertaining to the course in session.
  • Enjoy working with students, be comfortable working in small groups, and be polite, positive, and encouraging with all students.
  • Must be responsible, responsive, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills.
  • Communicate and report to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs any concerns regarding the participating students and their progress.
  • This is a year-round, part-time position with hours in the late afternoon to evening.
