Associate assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. The Sonoma County Junior College District does not offer 'remote only' assignments. Compensation/Benefits Assignments are made on a part-time, hourly basis.
A part-time faculty assignment may not exceed a total of 67% of an annual full-time assignment. Retirement: SRJC offers CalSTRS Defined Benefit, CalSTRS Cash Balance and Social Security as Associate Faculty retirement options. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Disability Resources Department provides a rich combination of support services and instruction to over 2,800 students with disabilities at Santa Rosa Junior College. The majority of assignments in the Disability Resources Department are allied (non-instructional) assignments providing 1:1 advising and disability management counseling to students with disabilities. POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to serve as a Counselor and/or Specialist for Students with Disabilities under the Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) at our institution.
The individual will provide essential services, guidance, and support to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive equitable access to educational opportunities and necessary accommodations in compliance with state and federal regulations. Overall Responsibilities: Provide equitable access to educational opportunities. Collaborate with DSPS staff and faculty to develop and facilitate accommodations for students.
Provide support in compliance with Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
