Job description

Job Summary:
Novacore is a specialty insurance company focused on redefining the insurance experience through innovation and advanced analytics. The Product Manager will lead the development of AI-enabled and traditional automation solutions, working across various teams to deliver products that automate workflows and enhance underwriting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Own the product roadmap for automation and AI solutions spanning intake, triage, underwriting, quoting, and policy ops across programs.
• Translate business needs from underwriting, actuarial, and operations into structured product requirements.
• Partner closely with engineering teams, vendor partners, and internal business units to deliver MVPs and iterate quickly.
• Drive adoption and scale of intelligent workflows that replace manual processes with AI agents and traditional automation.
• Lead cross-functional delivery from ideation through testing, feedback, and production rollout.
• Establish success metrics and track business impact (e.g., speed-to-quote, triage accuracy, loss ratio improvements).
• Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory, underwriting, and specialty program constraints and how they impact product design.
• Protect Novacore’s proprietary logic and workflows from vendor lock-in and ensure long-term IP ownership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise automation, or insurance technology
• Strong understanding of the insurance or MGA space — especially specialty lines, underwriting workflows, and E&S operations
• Demonstrated ability to build products with AI, automation, and API-first architectures
• Hands-on experience delivering data-intensive or AI/ML-powered products (LLMs, NLP, document processing, or agentic platforms)
• Exceptional communication skills — able to work directly with engineers, underwriters, and external partners
• Proven ability to manage complexity, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship valuable solutions quickly
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at turning fuzzy workflows into structured product features
Preferred:
• Experience with GenAI and automation platforms (e.g., OpenAI Agent SDK, CrewAI, LangChain, n8n)
• Familiarity with agent orchestration, document intelligence, and intelligent intake pipelines
• Exposure to Eurobase, Insurity, Vertafore, Salesforce, or modern insurance core systems is a plus
Company:
Novacore is an insurance firm that specializes in addiction treatment, behavioral health, professional liability, and employer stop loss. Founded in 1990, the company is headquartered in Conshohocken, USA, with a team of 201-500 employees. The company is currently Growth Stage.
