POSITION SUMMARY
The Platform Review Finance Manager oversees a high-end portfolio of assigned clients in which they will assess the prior financial performance and advice on areas of improvement to achieve desired outcomes (or personal professional and financial goals) with the collaboration of subject matter experts on the Platform Review team. This role is responsible for the analysis of historical financial performance, recommendation of process and financial improvements including cash flow, and accurate financial modeling for Cardone Venture's platforming clients..
In this role, you'll also work within a core team consisting of a Finance Manager, Marketing Manager, and Business Account Manager to engage in a seven-month deep dive into all aspects of client businesses to create a comprehensive analysis of past performance, assessment of current processes and structure, analyze market opportunity, and develop an in-depth strategic 10-year plan to achieve desired goals. The Finance Manager role plays a critical role in financial performance analysis, process improvement, and 10-year financial forecasting.

OBJECTIVES
  • Gather and interpret data needed in order to assess accuracy of historical financials and prior financial performance
  • Proactively intervene when detecting impending financial pressures with our platform clients through assessing future cash needs, implementing cash flow calls, and work in progress reporting when applicable
  • Strategically collaborate on platform deliverables with respective platform teams to ensure cohesive, targeted, and holistic platform deliverables aligned with client personal, professional, and financial goals
  • Consult with clients to determine their 10-year financial model and opportunities for expansion, from various industries with different levels of financial acumen
  • Assemble a summary of the client's statement of operations, cost of sales, revenue analysis, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and owner's discretionary earnings
  • Guide clients through a seven-month journey to shift their perspective on financial strategies in their business
  • Test, report, optimize, and analyze program performance to identify key levers and opportunities for improvements that can be shared across platforms and programs
  • Define daily cash target and analyze program success
  • Create and deliver detailed analysis of financial summaries and recommendations for improvement to process, best practice, and strategic operational change to Cardone Ventures' 10X360 Platform Review team and clients
  • Interact with clients at in-person events during the delivery of their 10X360 Platform Review
  • Perform beta tests on new initiatives to validate performance and establish standard operating procedures prior to a company-wide rollout
  • Prepare a SWOT analysis identifying areas to create a competitive advantage in their given marketplace
  • Identify potential cash flow challenges and intervene with proactive weekly cash flow projection

COMPETENCIES
  • Strong financial strategy and planning knowledge with the ability to gather and link accurate financial data to future business goals
  • Understanding of financial reports, budgets and forecasting as well as a basic level of accounting knowledge in regard to managing statements of operations, balance sheets, cashflow statements, etc.
  • Ability to lead clients through conceptual conversations around their growth goals and operational activities to determine key financial parameters to create accurate, and informed financial models
  • Ability to develop financial models in Excel to create 10 year business plans and forecasts
  • Knowledge of the difference between cash vs. accrual basis accounting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or accounting.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models that drive strategic business decisions
  • Proven experience advising business owners or executive stakeholders by translating financial insights into clear, actionable strategies that influence key decisions and drive business growth.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred.
