Job description

The Installation & Repair Technician assists with the installation and maintenance of all property video systems, LED displays, control, and audio systems. Will perform maintenance and inspections of all field devices. Assists the Lead Technician with all new and ongoing projects.

Duties:

  • Install, trouble shoot and test various equipment including Cat6 and RG6.

  • to ensure proper functionality and performance.

  • Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs to prevent issues and resolve operational problems.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

  • Maintain a spare parts inventory.

  • Document service reports and maintain accurate records.

  • Ensure tools and equipment stay in good working condition.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized and hazard free.

  • Must possess and maintain a basic set of tools. (Specialty tools will be provided)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D, or trade school equivalent required.

  • Experience in Construction and Structured Cabling preferred.

  • Basic Knowledge of networking, electronic and test equipment.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to work in high spaces, climb ladders, operate mechanical lifts and use a harness.

  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time.

  • Ability to move in and out of, and work inside confined spaces.

  • Must be able to communicate well in English, verbally and in writing.
