Job description

Responsibilities

• Install UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling infrastructure

• Test and certify permanent links using industry-standard equipment

• Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports

• Conduct site surveys, plan tasks, and coordinate with project managers and engineers

• Lead and manage a crew of installers in the field

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage / telecommunications

• Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video cabling

• Proficiency with industry-recognized certification tools, test equipment, and processes

• BICSI credentials are a plus

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; perform basic math; and distinguish industry color codes

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures

• Verifiable experience and character references required
