Description: Clear Connection is looking forย a highly motivated individual, who can arrive each day on time, with the required tools for the task at hand!

We are looking for a technician with a minimum of two years' experience in the telecommunications and structured cabling field.ย 

Requirements:

  • โ€ข High school diploma, GED, or higher (Industry certifications are a plus)
  • OSHA10 or OSHA30 preferred
  • Knowledge of power tools and their specific use case (saws, hammer drills, 10 in 1 screwdriver, Tape Measure, Tone and Probe, Needle Nose Pliers and Side Cutters, etc..)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in structured cabling and installation field
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule (ability to work day shift, night shift, and some weekends, depending on projects and customers)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized
  • Willing to travel if needed
  • Ability to pass drug/background check when required

Responsibilities:

  • Installation & termination of low voltage copper network cable (Cat6, Cat6A, Coax, etc.)
  • Testing and verification of cabling using industry standard equipment
  • Familiarity with construction drawing sets and floorplans
  • Provide concise daily reports to project foreman
  • Work with other members of the team to ensure brand integrity is being kept
