Electra Link is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structured Cabling Superintendent to join our Dallas team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, execution, and successful completion of structured cabling and low-voltage projects while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Summary

The Structured Cabling Superintendent oversees all field operations associated with structured cabling and low voltage installation projects. This role requires strong leadership, communication, technical expertise, workforce coordination, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are executed successfully while maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, Safety personnel, field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure projects remain aligned with schedules, budgets, and operational goals.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversee and fully understand all project requirements, specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ensure projects are installed accurately and according to documentation

  • Lead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and project personnel on structured cabling and low voltage projects

  • Plan and coordinate project labor, materials, tools, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient project execution

  • Maintain ownership of daily field operations, workforce planning, and installation quality

  • Ensure all quality control procedures and company safety protocols are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety standards

  • Manage large-scale, multi-story, campus, and mission-critical projects with teams of six (6) or more personnel

  • Coordinate with Project Managers regarding schedules, manpower forecasting, material procurement, and project progress

  • Attend and participate in all project meetings, including coordination, scheduling, safety, and customer meetings

  • Maintain excellent communication with customers, project management teams, Safety Managers, vendors, and field personnel

  • Identify and proactively resolve field-related issues, delays, and installation challenges

  • Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and timely, including:

    • Test results

    • As-built drawings

    • Closeout documentation

    • Warranty submissions

    • Daily reports

  • Support project turnover and closeout activities to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion

  • Mentor and train field personnel to support employee development and operational growth

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of experience in structured cabling, low voltage systems, construction management, or related field leadership roles

  • Strong experience leading commercial structured cabling and technology integration projects

  • Experience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or campus environments preferred

  • BICSI certification preferred

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of:

    • Structured Cabling

    • Technology Integration

  • Ability to read and interpret:
