About All Pro Audio Video

All Pro Audio Video is a trusted provider of low voltage solutions for primarily commercial and also residential installations and service. We specialize in surveillance systemsaccess controlstructured cablingnetworking, intercoms, VOIP phone, and audio/video installations. Our team is known for professionalism, technical expertise, and a customer-first approach.


Position Summary

We are hiring a Low Voltage Installer with the drive and potential to grow into a Crew Leader role or, depending on expertise and experience, possibly start as a Crew Leader. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated technician who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.)
  • Install and configure security cameras (CCTV)access control systems, and networking equipment
  • Program and troubleshoot IP-based systems
  • Read blueprints and follow structured cabling plans
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Mentor junior technicians as you grow into a leadership role


 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in low voltage installation
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance systemsaccess control, and network infrastructure are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience leading or training small teams
  • Certifications in low voltage, networking, or security systems (e.g., CompTIA, IPVM, BICSI)
  • Familiarity with tools like cable testers, multimeters, and network analyzers
  • Be comfortable performing basic tasks such as minor repairs, assembling equipment, mounting items, troubleshooting common issues, and general upkeep.
  • Be comfortable working on a ladder and/or lift, as needed.  Most elevated work is between 8-30 feet
