Job Covers: Based in Springfield, Missouri, we serve clients throughout the country. Travel (local and overnight) is required.

YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

  • Travel to industrial and commercial locations
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and team members about their structured cabling needs
  • Accurately install, terminate, test, and label copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic cables according to blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and CKC standards
  • Troubleshoot and maintain systems while complying with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, and local codes
  • Use various tools to test and certify cables
  • Clean and organize your job site
  • Follow all company standards, procedures, and expectations

REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR TELECOMMUNICATIONS CABLING INSTALLER - SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

  • Current BICSI certification, preferably technician level or higher
  • Proven structured cabling installation experience and proficiency with testing and installation equipment
  • Thorough understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and standards
  • Ability to accurately read and follow construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Ability to complete high-quality work independently, with a team, and with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments/conditions (construction sites, data centers, on ladders, in confined spaces, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel as needed
