Job description

Job Summary
Nothum is seeking a skilled welder to work in a team environment, assisting in the welding process for large-scale machinery. This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding processes for large-scale machinery.
    โ€ข Ensure assigned weldments are completed accurately and efficiently.
    โ€ข Measure and square assemblies for proper alignment.
    โ€ข Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions; seek clarification when needed.
    โ€ข Execute physical tasks including standing, stooping, bending, sitting, and crawling.
    โ€ข Lift and move up to 50 lbs; heavier loads require assistance.
    โ€ข Utilize required PPE, including safety glasses, weld hood, and steel toe boots.
    โ€ข Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
    โ€ข Tier 1 Responsibilities: Weld out frames, weld AcuFeeders, install doors, and heat exchanger stacks.

Qualifications
  • Prior welding experience (TIG preferred).
    โ€ข Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
    โ€ข Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
