Job Title: Pipe Welder
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our team in supporting commercial and civil construction projects. This role is responsible for welding pipe and structural steel to specification, interpreting blueprints, and operating welding equipment safely while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of welding experience and a strong commitment to safety and precision.
Job Responsibilities:
A Pipe Welder performs any of the following duties on construction projects, sometimes working in varying capacity when required.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
  • Prepare materials, including cutting, grinding, beveling and layout.
  • Perform high-quality welding on pipe and structural steel using multiple welding processes, including SMAW (stick) TIG and MIG with various materials.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as torches, grinders, saws and lift equipment safely and effectively.
  • Weld and Fabricate to support Commercial and Civil construction projects.
  • Other duties as necessary for the successful execution of tasks related to the project, including the ability to lift up and over 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications:
  • This position requires proven and demonstrable previous experience as a Welder.
  • Experience with bridge work, including welding bridge piling, bearing devices and miscellaneous metals.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years or more of industry related experience is required for this position.
  • Profound knowledge of operating general metal shop equipment and tools.
  • Possess the demonstrated ability to cut, fit, measure and weld metals to create to specification.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment testing, including a drug screen.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with rigging and hoisting material is preferred.
  • Crane operating experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
