Project Manager – Structural & Ornamental Steel

Location: Ponder, TX (On-Site)

A growing commercial steel contractor in the North Texas area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and ornamental metal projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio ranging from smaller specialty packages to large commercial and data center projects.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-driven professional who takes ownership of projects from award through closeout and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial steel projects from award through completion.

  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.

  • Oversee project schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project documentation.

  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and project progress to ensure successful execution.

  • Work closely with fabrication and field teams to maintain quality and production schedules.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within structural steel, miscellaneous metals, ornamental metals, or commercial steel fabrication.
