Mackson is a privately held supplier of fasteners, structural steel, weld wire, fabrications, pipe, tubing, fittings, flanges, and related products in chrome-alloy steel, stainless steel, carbon steel and nickel alloy steels primarily servicing the global nuclear power generation business. Position Summary
The Sales Engineer reporting to the Mackson Sales Manager at the Rock Hill facility. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts, quoting material, entering sales orders and purchase orders.
Job Responsibilities
  • Represent Mackson in interactions with customers, vendors, third party contractors and co-workers in the highest professional manner.
  • Achieve budgeted sales goals.
  • Develop and manage customer and supplier relationships.
  • Responsible for communications and required negotiations with internal and external organizations.
  • Provide professional communications whether in oral or written form to all Mackson personnel, customers, vendors, third party contractors for assigned territory.
  • Provide development, evaluation and recommendation on contracted services and materials.
  • Cover the on-call for sales on a rotating basis.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Travel
Occasional travel (<10%) to meet with customers and suppliers may be required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business or Management Discipline preferred.
  • Relevant industrial sales experience, particularly in the nuclear industry, is preferred.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and challenges in distribution.
