Job description

Deem Structural Services, LLC is seeking a Steel Erection Superintendent to join our team for 2 projects located in El Paso, TX!

We are an AISC Advanced Certified Steel Erector with a project focus on new construction and expansion of hospitals, commercial buildings, standard office buildings and medical office buildings, entertainment venues, and schools.

Project Information:

Location: El Paso, TX

Duration: ~8 Months

Hours: 60hrs/Week

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of structural steel erection from planning to implementation
  • Receive and manage materials and equipment
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Attend construction meetings and interface with project inspectors, contractors, and clients
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications, as well as our industry standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in heavy commercial steel erection projects
  • Previous experience in project supervision
  • Familiar with industry standards such as AISC, OSHA, AWS, PCI, SDI, SJI, and RCSC
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Experience identifying safety risks and the precautions/procedures to eliminate those risks

Pay commensurate with experience.
