We are seeking an experienced Senior Tekla Detailer to lead structural steel detailing within a fabrication environment. This role combines hands-on modeling with technical leadership, overseeing complex Tekla projects while establishing detailing standards, mentoring team members, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a Tekla expert with extensive structural steel detailing experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about improving quality, efficiency, and consistency across the detailing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and review complex Tekla models, shop drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication packages for structural steel projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide Tekla modeling and detailing standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to detailers through training, quality reviews, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and production personnel to resolve detailing issues before fabrication.
  • Review structural drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Perform quality control reviews of models and fabrication drawings prior to release.
  • Identify opportunities to improve detailing workflows, automation, and overall department efficiency.

Requirements
