Job Summary
We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Bridge Design Engineer) to join our team! As a Structural Engineer, work will include bridge and freeway structures design and inspection.
Responsibilities
  • Project Management
  • Design and production of construction documents
  • Supervision of junior engineers
  • Go out into the field as needed to observe the construction and ensure the drawings are being followed appropriately
  • Manage subconsultants for projects in the Pacific and the State of Hawaii
  • Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering desired with two to five years of structural design experience in bridge design and/or other types of infrastructure design
  • Must hold current Hawaii Structural license or be willing to obtain
  • Must have a working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design guide
  • Must have a working knowledge of CSIBridge, SAP, RISA, and AutoCAD at a minimum
  • Must be willing to work on all types of infrastructure design projects
  • The ability to work well both independently and within a team
