Pay rate ranges from $82.25 to $88.13 based on experience. Short Description:EP Monitoring Tech
Schedule- Primarily Days with some late night (evenings) and on call/call per unit needs.
Either 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts
Complete Description:Main Function of
Electrophysiology Monitor: will provide assistance to the Electrophysiologist
during EP studies/Ablations and Cardiac implants. Cardiac implant or structural
heart scrub experience is preferred but not required. Bloom stimulator experience is preferred but
not required. The ability to implement
EP Pacing monoverses and understanding is required. GE (MacLab & CardioLab) system is
required, to assist in pacing monoverse and measurements. Within the URMC we
coronate care with multiple vendors including Carto, Abbott, Rhythmia in
ablations, which the monitor will be assisting in set up. Epic is the main way to document in the
procedure within the lab. Epic experience is not required, but preferred. Responsible for commutating with MD and
in-room staff to ensure all equipment and supplies is available. Assists in facilitating room turnover and on
time starts for timely patient care. Coordinates with Charge Nurse and
third-party vendors to ensure all team members will be available for scheduled
procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Tech License: RCES or Radiologic Tech license
- 2 Years' experience
Job Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY
Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience
is preferred but not required.
GE (MacLab & CardioLab) system preferred but not
required
Bloom Stimulator preferred but not required.
List typical
procedures performed on unit(s):
RF ablations (Cryo ablations): A fib/Fultter. Atrial
tach, AVNRT, WPW and other ANRT ablations. (Mapping Systems include
Biosense Webster Carto, Abbot Ensite/Precision, Rhythmia)
Device implants: Traditional pacemakers (single,
dual, CSP, BiV) and ICD. Sub Q ICD, Leadless ppm, Loops, & LAAC: Watchmans
and Amulets.
*HRE: laser
and low risk
