Job Title: Associate (Civil Structural) Engineer
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000+ DOE
Employment Type: Full-time
We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Engineer (Civil/Structural) to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is ideal for a motivated engineering professional ready to contribute to high-level design and technical support for construction projects across the United States. The Associate Engineer will work closely with senior engineers and project managers on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding assignments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare PE-stamped design plans and supporting calculations for temporary and permanent structural systems on construction projects.
  • Design structures using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Communicate effectively with general contractors, clients, and team members through both written reports and verbal updates.
  • Support field operations and project needs through occasional travel to construction sites nationwide.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and contribute to project planning and development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
  • 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in construction or a related field.
  • EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software such as RISA-3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
