We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a collaborative and growing structural engineering team delivering a diverse portfolio of building projects across the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distribution, healthcare, and adaptive reuse markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys balancing technical design, project leadership, and client engagement. You'll work on projects ranging from renovations and facility expansions to large-scale new construction developments, while helping mentor junior engineers and contributing to the continued growth of a high-performing team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the structural analysis and design of a wide range of building projects, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distribution, institutional, and renovation projects.
  • Design structural systems utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, and other construction materials for low- to mid-rise structures and specialized facilities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in client, architect, and contractor meetings throughout project development and construction.
  • Oversee preparation of calculations, construction documents, technical reports, and engineering deliverables.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, perform site visits, and support construction administration activities.
  • Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering work and maintain a high standard of technical excellence.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers while fostering professional growth and development within the team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication and client service.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license is a plus.
  • 8+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
  • Experience designing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distribution, institutional, or renovation projects.
  • Proven project management experience and the ability to successfully lead projects from concept through construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural systems and design practices involving steel, concrete, and masonry.
  • Experience performing structural analysis and developing construction documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team-oriented and independent environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising engineering staff.

  • Working knowledge of Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
