Description
Percheron is seeking a motivated Civil/Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing engineering team supporting midstream energy infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including pipe racks, equipment foundations, structural steel design, transmission line structures and pipeline facilities, while gaining exposure to project engineering and multidisciplinary project execution.
This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges, wants broad project exposure, and is interested in developing technical expertise within the midstream industry.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned scope of work.
  • Formulating discipline specific parameters and assigning responsibilities to the correct subordinates and monitoring progress.
  • Interacting with clients and relaying the information to the team.
  • Providing input for budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the status of deliverables and activities.
  • Cooperating, collaborating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants to create more efficient project methods.
  • Reviewing specific tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions as assigned.
  • Implementing specifications as required for the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis from a accredited university.
  • Master's degree in structural engineering preferred
  • Professional Engineering license or Engineer-in-Training preferred.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Familiar with structural analysis software such as:
    • STAAD.Pro
    • RISA-3D
    • SAP2000
    • RAM Structural System
    • Similar structural analysis programs
  • Exposure to midstream, pipeline, industrial, utility, or transmission line projects
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and working overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
