We are seeking a skilled Revit Technician/Designer with a strong plumbing background and basic HVAC knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, drawings, and construction documents for plumbing systems across various project types. This position requires excellent Revit proficiency and a solid understanding of plumbing design principles, codes, and best practices. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Revit models for plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, vent, and gas systems.
  • Produce detailed construction documents, layouts, and schedules.
  • Coordinate plumbing models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
  • Assist in design calculations and system sizing as required.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and field teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2+ years preferred).
  • Experience in plumbing design for commercial, residential, or industrial projects. Basic HVAC knowledge preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes (IPC, UPC, or local equivalents).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or BIM coordination.
  • Knowledge of fire protection or mechanical systems.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform standard office and field activities 
  • Occasional site visits may be required 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
