Job description

We are seeking experienced Structural Engineers with strong transportation infrastructure expertise and hands-on PennDOT project experience to join a growing engineering team across Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex infrastructure environments and have a strong understanding of bridge and culvert design, structural analysis, and transportation-related engineering standards.

As part of a collaborative transportation engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering structural design solutions for infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with PennDOT and AASHTO standards. You'll support projects from the design phase through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include preparing structural calculations and construction documents, performing design and analysis work for transportation structures, utilizing MicroStation for drafting and design support, and ensuring all project deliverables align with applicable codes and specifications.

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity with one opening available in each office location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required
  • Minimum 5+ years of structural engineering experience
