Ongoing training in trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques helps staff navigate these challenges while ensuring the safety and well-being of both youth and team members.

What are STRTP Direct Care Staff?

STRTP Direct Care Staff are professionals who work in Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTPs), which are specialized facilities providing care and supervision to youth with complex behavioral and emotional needs. Their primary role is to support residents with daily activities, implement individualized care plans, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
